The MusiCollective is a community of people that get behind each others' projects, for example by helping with songwriting, arrangements, recording and production. It is a continuation of TGS Records (@tgs-records) which started as a lockdown project and has been snowballing new members in ever since. Here is my submission 
For a life that I love
I’ve been looking for permission 
Is this how I get some? 

I wrote up all the reasons 
That I could find
Documented all the seasons 
Of my life

And I’ll be waiting by my mail box
Every night
For an unmarked envelope that tells me 
What you decide 

About my life
I want to be extraordinary in 
My life
And enjoy the ordinary 
It’s my life 

I did a meditation 
Last Saturday
It asked if I were dying  
What would I change 

I though of all the things to list
I couldn’t decide 
I saw a cup of tea and 
A sun setting bright

This is the 7th song posted from the album I have been working on using demo tracks given to me by Wou-Wou & the Wormling during the start of the pandemic! I can't believe how fast time has passed and how long we have been working on this project. 4 songs from the album are based on a graphic novel that Wou-Wou had started before the pandemic began. The rest of the songs are reflections of the weird times we were living in.

Big thanks to Wou Wou, Bit-zone, and Stricknice for still being here after all these years. I have known and worked with people on SoundCloud probably longer than I have known high school friends, college friends, and friends from various jobs. Huge thanks to Guitar Wizards of the Future. I remember when I first began participating in the SoundCloud community, I would always eagerly anticipate a new GWOTF track, especially because I grew up in Oakland California. I look forward to hearing a new one someday! In the meantime, go check out the classics on their page!
