Talking to your kids about divorce is not easy. So, what is the best way to talk to your kids about Divorce?

Several of my current clients are in the early stages of separation or divorce and have children. This is an important question…. How do you talk to your children about separating or divorcing? What do you tell them and how?

As you all know if you’re currently considering separation or divorce or in the midst of it… you’re already dealing with a lot of emotions of your own, just accepting the reality of your situation for yourself. The thought of telling your children can be overwhelming and bring on another huge pile of emotions and decisions…

Finding Love After Divorce Is Possible!

The years leading up to your divorce, the divorce, and then the aftermath, can be more than a little messy and leave you feeling drained both emotionally and physically. It can take some time to get your feet back underneath you and feel as though you are moving forward again. And although you have a bit of a road ahead of you, the time will come when you are ready to heal, ready to pick up your life again, and move on.

The great news is that it doesn’t have to take forever. As a life coach, I specialize in helping  women move into a healthy place after divorce. It takes some intentional work, but you can get to your new place faster than you thought possible, and with a stronger and healthier mindset than ever before.

Merry Christmas Friends! I hope you’re warm and cozy while you’re listening today! I’m wearing my fuzzy slippers and a cozy turtleneck sweater, and my fireplace is on. I’m thinking about you!  Christmas can be wonderful and magical but also painful and challenging. The holidays are when we get out of our usual routines of life, and we have special traditions and expectations of what our holidays will be like, and divorce changes everything! 
I love Christmas, but I know Christmas can be challenging, especially if you’re dealing with extra trials and challenges this year…and who isn't? We’re all dealing with some personal trials and struggles of some kind- this is LIFE! 

This year you may be sharing your time with your children, or not attending events or celebrations that you have in the past with your ex’s family or you may be alone more often this Christmas and this can bring up a lot of emotions …like loss, emptiness and overwhelm that you may be managing daily, but seems to be magnified during the holidays. So, that's what I want to talk about today…If you are dealing with changes in your life and the loss of family members or loved ones, I want to know you CAN find peace and joy this Christmas, even if you're dealing with divorce.
