I don't even know what to call this. This all really started because I wanted to build a soundtrack around that little trumpet hook. Felt that maybe I could smoosh some guitar and horn sounds together and still bring it back into a tech-house vibe. Fun fun.

Last august I spent few weeks in my family home in Italy with my children and my mom.

I just took with me the Subharmonicon, an Octatrack and the ELZ-1 with the idea of making a diary of those summer days and to finish and release it all the same month.

Every night, I made a sketch recorded in one take directly on the iPad; the rule is that there are no overdubs.

I also added recorded fields from the same day. It all ended up in this kind of mixtape made only from this material, finalized on tape.

They are like a drop of sweat or rain on a summer hot roof.
