Here's our cover of one of our favorite artists: Lincoln Brewster's amazing song 'God You Reign.'  We loved this song from the first time we heard it and knew we had to cover it.  Hope you enjoy!

God You Reign

Jeremy and Ryan have been recognized as one of the best up and coming Catholic Rock artists today. They are very humbled by the gifts and opportunities that God has given them, and they are excited about what the future holds.

Long before being asked to headline such events as Santa Barbara Regional Youth Day, San Diego Regional Youth Day, LA Youth Day of Anaheim, to name a few, Jeremy Shoop and Ryan Clouse met each other while still in high school, playing in the youth choir at their home parish, Holy Cross in Moorpark, CA.  From there, they formed a rock band and tried their hands at music in the secular world.  Though they experienced many great successes over the band’s 7 year run – recording a full length album backed by their management team, touring up and down California at many notable venues, having their music featured on various television shows, and recording multiple music videos – they would soon come to realize how empty that scene really was.  

Soon after the band broke up, Jeremy and Ryan were searching for other avenues to continue to play the music that they knew and loved.  What they came to understand was that through their lives, there had always been two constants: their faith and their music.  Not long after that realization, the two took over as directors of the youth choir at their parish, Holy Cross. While learning more about the liturgy, music, and their faith, Jeremy and Ryan began writing their own original Catholic Rock songs.  With a growing support from their community they began to take their act to neighboring parishes, helping to spread the word and the love of God to as many people as they could.

Once the two saw the difference that their music and words made for people and how it helped others grow in their own faith, they knew that this is exactly what God had planned for them. Currently, Jeremy and Ryan direct the youth choir as well as the adult choir at Holy Cross in Moorpark, as well as the youth choir and a liturgy band at St. Julie Billiart in Newbury Park.  They provide music at youth ministry nights and confirmation retreats for parishes all around the Southern California area, they help lead and provide music for week long camps such as Camp Big Deal and the SAW Retreat in Santa Barbara, CA, and they put on various praise and worship concerts and events.  Jeremy and Ryan look forward to the coming year, are so thankful for everything that God has given them, and will continue to follow in His path, wherever it may lead.
