Our next guest is a Moscow based artist whose productions were in constant and consistent circuits amongst the global heavyweights before he finessed his darker sounds to reflect his current day blend of - deep progressive music with techno elements. 

Switching from the comfort zone of an internationally established signature sound to another universe of production was no easy feat, especially for a person who had cemented their touring career on that very sound. However having started from scratch again, he's quickly become a respectable name within the more experimental bpm range - with releases and support by DJs who were already championing this sound.

His DJ style traverses the orthodox selector as he seamlessly blends these elements to tell a story that isn't limited by specific subgenres. His energetic dark palette linked with his love for chunkier techy vibes, flavoured with nasty funky grooves, powered by the long intense transitions - make him a storyteller that is seasoned with many a tale.

Slam Duck is back on label with his new single called Delirious! This tune Alexander went in a more dark direction combining his trademark muted acid-driven bassline with melancholic arps and sequences, really nice combo! First on the remix duties we have his old mate Vertruda delivering his more club-oriented interpretation with nasty bassline and edgy synths, definitely something for the dancefloor. You Are My Salvation wraps up this release with his stunning 10 minutes journey of a remix adding layers of acid and playing with the original synths in a really cool and unique way.

Progressive / Techno / Trance

Born and raised in the small rural town of Wilmar in southeastern Arkansas, US. With no local music scene, his only exposer to music at a very young age was through attending church but also digging into his mother and brother's vinyl and cassette collections listening to hip-hop, r&b, blues, soul and motown artists. In his elementary years he joined his school choir and learning the basics of piano and reading sheet music. Later, at 12yrs. old he joined his high school concert band learning to compose and write and playing alto saxaphone and later added tenor and baritone sax to the list. This opened his exposure to classical music. In addition, he later developed a taste for percussion; learning snare and eventually full drum set. Having been exposed early on to rock and metal music, this led him to being recruited as drummer for local a progressive metal band. Having been introduced to computers while enrolled in a technology course, he stumbled across music production software. Realizing he could use this as a creative medium musically in a way he had never imagined, he quickly learned this software, mimicing hip-hop beats and eventually creating his own. Unsatisfied with the sounds, he wanted more. A close friend then introduced him to electronic music artists such as Paul Oakenfold, Timo Maas, Nick Warren, John Digweed and more. This was a sound unlike anything he had ever heard. He studied these producers sounds and quickly started producing his own tracks and uploading them to forums online. After several years of crafting his sound he gathered the attention of the likes of world renowned DJs such as Paul Oakenfold, Markus Schulz, Solar Stone, M.I.K.E. and John 00 Fleming to name a few, with releases on labels such as Saturate Audio, In Sessions and an assorment of labels under the Proton Music label catalog.
