“January Eleven” was composed on January 11, 2025, while devastating fires were raging near the Los Angeles area. On that day, a displaced family found refuge in my home, their spirits unwavering despite uncertain circumstances. Their optimism stood in stark contrast to the looming threat of the flames, reminding me how quickly our comforts can slip away. This neoclassical solo piano piece channels the turmoil into a soothing, reflective sound, evoking both the fragility of our possessions and the strength of a community that unites in times of crisis. It’s a testament to resilience, hope, and the power of compassion.

While firmly grounded in the rock and blues influences of his youth, “Fields Of Redemption” sees Irish guitarist Joe Hodgson encompass a myriad of musical styles, which he blends and moulds to stunning effect. The result is an almost entirely instrumental album that is insanely diverse and refuses to fit neatly into any musical genre. Hogson explains, “You’ll find all my influences in there: rock, blues, jazz, classical, country, and even Irish traditional music. I also recorded two acoustic tracks, which was a first for me”. Feelings of introspection and soul-searching pervade the record, but it also radiates brighter, less angst-ridden melodic explorations than its predecessor, “Apparitions”.  The inspiration for the album came from an extended journey around his native Ireland with his new wife and his trusty Gibson Les Paul, soaking up the land of his birth. Hodgson explains, “The album is fundamentally about reconnecting with my roots, reconciling with and embracing the past, while steadfastly looking to the future. It’s also about a journey to find inner peace, which for me is punctuated by laughter and a whole lotta fun. Overall, I think it’s a very uplifting record". "Fields Of Redemption" covers a wide range of emotions, moods, and styles, and it takes the listener on an epic journey. It is ambitious and brave, and the frequent twists and turns will keep listeners constantly on their toes.

Hatter's Mad Emporium - Final

Blinded is Bastien Pons' debut album. Both a sonic and visual experience, it draws a parallel between his black-and-white photographic work and his approach to music. The album is a meditation on perception, blindness (literal and symbolic), and the tactile nature of sound. Each track is built around texture: digital grit, organic noise, harmonic shadows.
Recorded and mastered in 2025, Blinded is an immersive journey at the edge of ambient, experimental electronics and musique concrète.

This song was written at a time in my life when I was going through allot. I was having one of the days where my memories from the past was causing me to feel down in myself and my life.

My Fairytale

I wrote this song for my wife over 20yrs ago before we reconnected. We were living states away from each other but spoke on the phone every night for months until I made the decision to finally move out to where she lived to start a new life together. The song describes the feelings I was going through during that time before reconnecting with her.

In My Mind

This song was written years ago at a time in my life when I was tired of holding on to the self doubt I had about myself or the outside “Noise” from people who didn’t believe in me. It was a message to myself of finally letting go of people’s opinions. It also expressed how I was reflecting on myself and how I just “didn’t care anymore”. I was just wanting to let it all go.

Jeremy Ryan Martin is a solo rock artist with a sound forged through raw emotion, real-life struggle, and years of hands-on experience in the underground music scene. His passion for music began at 13, when he formed his first band with middle school friends in the early ’90s. By 17, he was already writing original songs and fronting local rock groups, honing his voice and presence on stage.

Throughout his 20s and 30s, Jeremy played in several rock-driven projects, spending countless hours in recording studios learning the craft of mixing and production from seasoned audio engineers and musicians. A self-taught songwriter shaped by hardship, he grew up with a single mom and younger brother, often turning to his guitar as a way to cope and make sense of life.

Jeremy draws inspiration from the gritty rock legends he grew up on—Metallica, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Candlebox, and other icons of the late ’80s and early ’90s. While those influences echo through his music, it’s his unique voice and deeply personal songwriting that set him apart. Every track he creates is a reflection of resilience, struggle, and healing.
