Into the Light (From "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3"/Score)

A melancholy cinematic orchestral rework of my 2016 track "Avvento (From ‘The Emperor, The Fool and the Girl’)” with lush strings, subtle piano and both soaring and wistful brass. 

I dedicate this song to all victims of the horrors of war, conflict, injustice and violence around the world, and particulary to children living in conflict zones who are denied the right to a happy, carefree childhood and to grow up in a safe and caring environment. Hoping that one day soon a new dawn may rise and shed its rays of hope. Let peace and respect for human rights not be a distant dream.

This song was originally conceived as part of the soundtrack of an imaginary animation short film ‘The Emperor, the Fool and the Girl’. Actually a short story set to music and made up of brief scenes with variations on the same musical theme. One element is still missing though: the not-yet-existing film as an accompaniment to this music, or vice versa. Anyone?
