Sergey Kochergin is a composer creating atmospheric instrumental music at the intersection of neoclassical and soundtrack. His primary focus is on crafting soundscapes capable of becoming an integral part of a visual narrative—be it film, theatre, or a media project.

His creative process can be described as a translation of impressions from the world around him into sound—from images of nature to stories born from imagination. In his music, evocativeness and emotional depth take precedence, replacing complex formal structures.

William is an eclectic, eccentric, and electronic musician from the NW Indiana/ Chicago-land area. William draws influence from a variety sources that include Downtempo, IDM, Ambient, Dream Pop, Lo-Fi, Trip Hop, Soundtrack, New Age, Video Games, Electronic Rock, Art Rock and Progressive Rock.

William came up from working class roots and still exists there, and yet, William’s music both transcends and embraces this history for better or worse. 

At times like an aging philosopher, at other’s belligerent and dumb. Either way, one thing William is not… is boring.

Founded by Jez Stephen, who incepted all the projects, the label has released over 30 albums, crafting a unique sonic identity across genres.
