I wrote this song thinking, "ano kaya ang nasa kamalayan ng bawat amateur na Pilipinong soundclouder na tulad ko para magsingit ng oras mula sa'ming mga busy na schedule para gumawa ng cover at kumatha ng kanta?"

Sometimes, we find ourselves in a loving but frustrating relationship with another person: an overprotective parent or relative, a controlling partner or spouse, a dominating colleague or boss, an abusive friend. While it is true that we love and are loved back, at times in the expression of this love, we lose who we are in the process. We let these people we love steer the direction of our lives or even change the way we define ourselves.

I wrote this song more than 5 years ago (so forgive me if walang rhyme yung iba hahaha). I don't recall why I wrote it. But it sure was very empowering when I did.
