Polish sensation GIGEE embarks on her Spectrum journey with a stunning brace of tracks for Joris Voorn's ever expanding label.

A student of the scene GIGEE, now based in Paris, has worked tirelessly on her craft. Honing her production and DJ skills, whilst nurturing, exploring and forcing the boundaries of her own sound. Releases for Mobilee, Katermukke and Desert Hearts have impressed and her sound - powerfully melodic with an adventurous progressive touch - now finds another spiritual home on Spectrum.

Title track Mind Games is a roof-raiser. Echoing staccato vocals and strong kick drums lay the foundation before GIGEE unveils her main melody. A stellar breakdown follows, rolling snares and even a splash of breakbeat, all coming together to forge an epic finale.

More exhilarating feels on the flip as we're whisked away on a fantastical musical wave. Is This A Dream? Perhaps. Long warm bass chords hold us secure as the vocal asks the question. Angelic vocals and piano then lead us to the summit, where anthemic stabs launch us even higher.

Having already caused seismic dancefloor rumblings alongside Q.U.A.K.E. on their previous Spectrum outing, Serbian duo Innēr Sense return to the label with another striking release, Hope / Outrage.
 
This double-header sees the pair continue to explore the emotional depth and musical intensity that has become their signature, delivering two contrasting yet complementary tracks that embody the ethos of their name: a balance of internal reflection and visceral impact.
 
'Hope' opens with a gnarly bass synth that purrs, slowly building anticipation. Layer by layer, regal synths and pounding drums emerge, culminating in a spine-tingling crescendo. The track's emotional resonance is palpable - a euphoric journey from tension to release.
 
On the flip side, 'Outrage' takes a darker turn. With a vicious synth line that almost breathes, the track radiates a sinister energy, never peaking yet maintaining an intense, shadowy presence. A masterclass in restraint, Outrage feels like a coiled predator lurking in the darkness, its brooding character contrasting starkly with the hopeful exuberance of its counterpart.
 
Hope / Outrage is a story of duality - a reflection of light and dark, optimism and rebellion, all encapsulated within Innēr Sense's unmistakable sound.

Jerome Isma-ae combines the behind-the-curtain knowledge of a music producer, with the familiarity and deep knowledge of a dance floor you would expect from a DJ. Broad in his influences, and a visionary in his approach, you’ll always catch a hint of progressiveness in his sound. Jerome has been surrounded by music since his early years, with musical education in elementary school, learning the piano and later the guitar. At 12, Jerome was already playing the bass guitar in a heavy metal band, but it wasn’t until 14 that he started making his own beats with a drum machine.
Having dabbled in many dance music subgenres, you will catch glimpses of Techno, Trance, and Progressive House in his productions. A mean and heavy rhythm section is contrasted against haunting harmonies and counter melodies, and complimented by ambient and textural layers that add a new dimension to the final product. This formula is applied with top-notch clarity and a meticulous attention to detail to such an extent that the sound of his drums has become both recognizable and memorable.
