En MMXVII, RIPLORD part à Berlin pour vivre le rêve allemand, cela lui permet de sortir son premier album digital sur le label international STECKDOSE. Il rencontre aussi TEXTASY qui finit de le convaincre de produire et mixer avant tout du breakbeat. La technique consistant à jouer les bangers au plus haut du bpm fader permet de ne jamais rater sa cible, la recette pour des soirées endiablées était donc trouvée.
De la même manière, il perfectionne la production technoïde avec MEL, qui aujourd'hui, mixe dans différents podcasts et évènements, notamment pour le collectif La Sacrée Déter. Cette année, RIPLORD sort une production avec quelques éléments samplés d'un titre de KIUPER, duo lyonnais faisant ravage dans la milice breakbeat techno, qui paraîtra prochainement sur une VA du label SENARY. Prochainement sa première production dans une compilation au format vinyle sur le label ABSTRAH (sortie prévue fin 2021-début 2022)."

"Discovery" is literally what I'm trying to share with people about House music and these sub-genres from a point of view that's outside of the mainstream scene. it's a personal commitment in every sense. I started DJing at the extreme opposite of what House music was in the 90's - 2000's. Discovery is the musical turnaround, a memory of the past, that I I did to redirect myself to the source of the beginning, the foundations of what we could commonly call "Electronic Music" today. It is with an educational and commemorative approach, for people and for myself who did not have the chance to physically experience this period that the idea of "Discovery" was born.

For their big debut on Moon Harbour, CamelPhat have linked up with Cari Golden, the voice of modern house music, for a superb new single that comes backed with a remix from label head Matthias Tanzmann. 

British duo CamelPhat have risen from the underground to go on to global prominence. Their big house sounds often feature guests and collaborators, but none were more successful than their Grammy-nominated smash hit 'Cola' with Elderbrook. They have released on labels like Defected, Sola and Snatch! and now serve up another of their timeless tunes with Cari Golden, who has featured with the diverse likes of Groove Armada, DJ T and Roger Sanchez on plenty of Beatport number ones. She can sing on sunny boat party sounds as well as raw warehouse tunes with equal style, and here offers something brilliantly intense. 

The intoxicating 'Freak' is a high impact affair designed for big rooms. The techno tinged drums are overlaid with Golden's paranoid vocals. Her dark delivery is matched by the turbulent bass and taught synths that add to the sense of tension that will sweep the dance floor off its feet. 

Remixing is main man Matthias Tanzmann, who is in fine form as he strips things back to a bubbling, pressurised Tech House groove. He layers in sweeping white noise, chattery claps and the original vocal as well as plenty of freaky effects to make for a track that will flip dancers inside out. 

This is another high-grade release from all concerned.
