Launched in 2010, THE REFLEX is a project from producer / DJ Nicolas Laugier, a French national based in the UK since 1998. Following on the footsteps of remix / DJ edit pioneers Larry Levan, Shep Pettibone, François Kevorkian or John Luongo, The Reflex somewhat redefined the remix rules book by using stems and multitracks to craft fresh, innovative versions (dubbed ’revisions’) from classics tracks and artists, genre-hopping through the decades and styles with ease, combining creativity and functionality with often spectacular results.

Jesse Allen has had a life long affair with music.

He is a graduate of The New England Institute of Art with an Associates Degree of Science in Audio Production and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society with a 3.9GPA. He is also a member of AES (Audio Engineering Society), BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.), and is the 2011 AiME Award Winner for Best Overall Production.

Jesse Allen is an award winning Music Producer, Arranger, Audio Engineer, Mixer, Saxophonist, Keyboardist, Synthesist, and Professional House Music and Disco DJ with proficiencies in Pro Tools, Logic, audio signal processing, microphones, and mixing techniques. Jesse is also the owner and operator of Beat Connection Recordings, a production company that specializes in dance music production, event promotion, nightclub and special event DJ services. His DJ career dates back to the mid nineties and since then he has had the honor of sharing the stage with several of the world’s most respected circuit DJs. With more than 15 years experience as a DJ he pulls from his large record collection of contemporary and classic disco, house, and obscure dance music grooves providing the freshest music programming and mixing this side of the galaxy to produce his signature sound.

His musical journey started with playing the saxophone at the tender age of seven, and by the age of ten he began studying jazz. In nineteen ninety-three Jesse had been introduced to the sounds of the ever-present house music underground in Boston, Massachusetts and soon after started playing with his friends’ turntables, he had come to find a new musical passion. By the age of eighteen he started fusing his musical worlds together, mixing records and playing the sax at the same time. Teaching himself to play piano and schooling himself in the art of Music Production, Synthesis, and Audio Engineering followed as Jesse progressed in the music industry. Jesse Allen returned to college to pursue an Associates Degree of Science in Audio Production from The New England Institute of Art in Brookline, Massachusetts. His focus in returning to college was to diversify and hone his craft to become a well-rounded Professional Music Producer and Audio Engineer with interests in working in the television, film, and gaming industries aside from music. Jesse graduated at the top of his class and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Jesse Allen won The New England Institute of Art’s most prestigious audio AiME Award for Best Overall Production in April of 2011.

Recent times have found Jesse Allen playing saxophone for NYC based DFA Records act, Graceful Exit, with Walter Jones and Tate Masimore (AKA Chas Bronz). Graceful Exit’s debut EP will be released on DFA Records in June 2011. Jesse played keys, synths, and sax on Bananza Music’s release “Melodic Pleasure” by Ryan Tapia featuring Celeste. The release of “Deep Sax”by Seedadian Deep on Seed Recordings showcases Jesse Allen’s sweet and sultry saxophone playing and has received heavy play from Dj’s throughout the world. He is an original member of the group Long Distance Analog, who have released two EPs on UK based Mullet Records with fellow band mates Sean Healey and Tate Masimore. Long Distance Analog's sound is heavily cemented in the synth pop, nu disco, and electronic dance music realm of funky, vocal laced songs. Their song, “Plecked Medium” (ODahl Remix) was included on the Hed Kandi Nu Disco Vol. 2 compilation distributed by Ministry of Sound in January of 2010. Jesse teamed up with Tate Masimore and Evan Langley, both Berklee College of Music graduates, and drummer Brenden Wesley on a new project titled: Jesse Allen Presents HiRed Bugs, born out a shared musical vision and love of classic disco production techniques.

Jesse Allen is an award winning Music Producer, Audio Engineer, Musician and DJ who looks forward to a long career in the music industry. He took some time off from holding down a heavy DJ schedule to focus on his education, Jesse is currently available for performances an booking new dates. When performing, Jesse brings his years of experience and finesse behind the decks to the DJ booth at select events and has held several residencies at various nightclubs throughout major cities in the New England area. He tends to play everything funky, delving deep into downtempo, jazz, disco, funk, balearic, cosmic disco, electro, nu disco, and house music. Javier Drada – A Pioneer of Underground Electronic Music

Javier Drada has been a driving force in the underground electronic music scene since the early 1980s. After moving to Miami in 1984, he immersed himself in the city’s vibrant B-Boy and Breaker culture. By 1986, as Chicago House music took over Miami’s club scene, Drada gained recognition as a prominent House dancer in the city’s top venues.

In 1988, his collaboration with George Acosta led to the creation of CreepHouse, a groundbreaking event series that helped shape Miami’s club culture. His work as a club promoter for notable figures such as Michael Capponi, Gary James, Bobby Brandt, and Mickey Rourke also played a pivotal role in establishing South Beach as a hub for electronic music, helping launch Acosta’s early career with key residencies and gigs.

From House to Techno: Expanding Musical Boundaries

By 1990, Drada transitioned from House to Techno, collaborating with Hector Maldonado (DJ Krypto) and Paul Fernandez (Dr. Psychosis) to host Miami’s first dedicated Techno parties. His after-hours events, particularly those featuring Sven Väth, redefined the Miami Techno landscape. Inspired by Väth and Pete Namlook, Drada also explored ambient music, earning the nickname “Miami’s Ambient Junkie.”

His influence on the ambient scene peaked in 1994 with a live performance alongside Pete Namlook, later released as Namlook X on FAX Records. His contributions solidified his reputation as Miami’s Ambient Pioneer, hosting chill-out events that shaped the city’s evolving soundscape for nearly a decade.

Championing Detroit Techno and Radio Innovation

In 1996, Drada ventured into radio, co-hosting a pirate show on The Beat 101.1 FM with Joseph Fitzgerald and Victor DeLauz. Backed by Detroit legends such as Juan Atkins, Mike Banks, and Keith Butts of Submerge, he brought the raw, underground energy of Detroit Techno to Miami’s airwaves.

In 1998, after relocating to New Orleans, Drada launched Submerge, the Show on Flyfm.net with Dave Manic, focusing on educating listeners about authentic underground Techno. The show featured influential artists such as Mike Banks (UR), DJ Rolando (The Aztec Mystic), Damon Wild, Mike Grant, Alan Oldham (DJ T1000), Sean Deason, Norm Talley, Keith Tucker (K-1), and The Black FU of Visillusion.

TECHNO Club – die tiefe familie (The Deep Family): A Legacy Reimagined

Inspired by Detroit’s pioneering Belleville Three—Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson, and Derrick May—alongside innovators like Eddie Fowlkes, Blake Baxter, James Pennington, and Underground Resistance, Drada built on their legacy in New Orleans. His years of broadcasting Detroit Techno and championing futuristic sounds laid the foundation for the creation of TECHNO Club – die tiefe familie (The Deep Family) in the spring of 2014.

More than just an event series or radio show, TECHNO Club became a collaborative platform for like-minded individuals passionate about preserving and advancing the underground Techno movement. It serves as a collective voice driven by shared dedication, creativity, and a hope for a better future. TECHNO Club thrives through its members, whose contributions continue to keep the underground spirit of Techno alive and evolving.

A Lifelong Commitment to Underground Music

Drada’s musical journey has been enriched by friendships, collaborations, and support from icons such as Pete Namlook, Charles “Uzzell” Edwards, Juan Atkins, Mike Banks, Brett Dancer, Larry Heard, Kai Alcé, DJ Krypto, Dr. Psychosis, Carlos Espinosa, David Padilla, George Acosta, Ian Appel, Luis Diaz, George Alvarado, Carlos Menendez, DJ Stryke, Oscar G, and Ralph Falcon.

His sound spans a diverse range of genres, including Ultra-Lounge, Downtempo, Afro-Cuban, Nuyorican Salsa, Disco, ’80s Electro, Traditional House, Garage, Deep House, Techno, Minimal-Tech, Tribal, Progressive, Ambient, and Trance. With a vast music collection spanning over 37 years, Drada remains committed to pushing boundaries and fostering underground dance culture. Whether behind the decks or curating experiences, his sets reflect a lifetime of musical mastery, innovation, and a deep respect for the legacy of underground electronic music.

DJ Fritz is ranked as one of the top DJs and producers in Chicago. He started on the wheels of steel at the age of nine, and certainly made a contribution on the House scene in Chicago. He performed with some of Chicago’s luminaries, such as Armando, Ron Carroll, Boo Williams, Paul Johnson, Andre Harris, Mark Grant, and Glenn Underground, just to name a few. Inspired by Chicago’s definition of House, he accumulated his own unique style. DJ Fritz can move the crowd in more ways than one, as he strives to make more and more music. DJ Fritz has consistently played at some of Chicago’s infamous old and new school underground clubs. Having been a part of the House scene for over two decades, DJ Fritz has mastered the art of DJing locally and internationally. 
As a producer, DJ Fritz produced his own tracks and remixed old school favorites like “Love You More” by Genuine, “New Day” by Patti LaBelle, and “O” by Omarion. In 2000, DJ Fritz created Muzic Vision Records with DJ Papa, with the following mission: to create, produce, remix, and play unique music that combines jazz, gospel, house, lounge, and other soulful qualities. With this in mind, Muzic Vision Records released “African Orchestra,” “Brighter Day,” and “The Journey Home” with last releases from Glenn Underground titled “Inner Techno” and “Ambient Jazz 1.” Muzic Vision Records established itself, and DJ Fritz continued to work on projects, and spinning at major nightclubs. He then moved on and collaborated with DJ Pap to form Naked Soul, which released nothing but soulful grooves. Later, more entities were created, such as Black Mamba, which is their African tribal grooves, and Gamma Kids, where you will hear more of the techno beats. 
DJ Fritz’s music, producing, and remixing styles reflect the deep sounds of the soulful House in Chicago. He has a number of singles and EPs supported by Citrus Recording and Cameo Recording in the UK, Lad Records in Portugal, United Music Records in France, Music Plan Records in Italy, and his own label, Muzic Vision Records. DJ Fritz creates and produces sounds that blur the lines between genres and connect the dots for his listeners. Fast forward to 2018, DJ Fritz relocated to Texas and met up with two other local DJs, also transplants to the Houston area. In  December 2020 following a worldwide pandemic, he formed the House music trio Spiritual Dance Sessions and as a group they quickly became highly involved within the Houston House music scene.DJ Fritz currently travels abroad with SDS frequently and continues to work on several projects and major events in and around Houston and different cities. Through creativity and ingenuity, DJ Fritz and Spiritual Dance Sessions' mission is to take music and dance parties to a higher standard globally.
