For the next instalment of our Nightime Drama podcast we welcome our good friend from Berlin, Mareena to provide a hour of brooding techno for your aural enjoyment.

One of the few DJ's, DJs whose reputation has been built on her prowess as selector alone rather than having to rely on productions or promotion to gain gigs, this is evident from her long standing residency at Berlin techno institution Tresor.

With a repertoire of music that spans from the emotionally tinged soundscapes found in her UNRUSH project, a podcast / event series focusing on ambient & electronica, to her storming dark, driving techno sets at her home in the basement of Tresor, Mareenas dj sets are an experience into the expansive world of techno.

This podcast really exemplifies the techno side that Mareena is renowned for, including tracks from luminaries such as; Markus Suckut, Dan Curtin, F.U.S.E., & Stojche, it combines her appreciation of the new breed of techno producers with a respectful nod to the classics.

For 034 of the series we welcome Naty Seres. She was one of the organizers of the Freqs of Nature, a festival experimenting and innovating with bold line-ups ranging the broad spectrum of electronic music. To further dive into the depths of electronic music, together with Sharad Sood she started the Atmophile Electronics label in 2016. The next hour, which is a cut of a 3hr set at Tanzhauswest Frankfurt, showcases over a decade of experience as DJ, producer, organizer and labelhead.
