Parisian artist Assalm is back with his second album, “Slay”. Ten brand new original tracks blending elements of Electronica, Techno and dark Electro with the characteristic deep and atmospheric sound the French artist established in his debut album “Rivera”. While his debut though followed a more playful approach by even adding elements of Trap into the mix, Assalm’s sophomore album takes a more minimal and stripped down direction. The LP opener “Midnight” will immediately catch the listener’s attention with its atmosphere before the heavy hitters “Oblast” and “Valkyrie” kick in to get the blood pumping and set the mood for the rest of “Slay”. This is definitely Assalm’s most mature and complete outing to date but then again that’s probably only going to last until his next release. Either way, enjoy!

Slay

Assalm - Valkyrie

Guitar player of about 25 years but I have been off and on as I am busy with work and other stuff. I’m 35 and I love metal, pretty much every genre there a some I do not like . I also like Synthwave and dubstep well some dubstep. I love rap but only like Jedi mind tricks army of the pharaohs, also mad child and all tech n9ne and his record label. I am just now learning how to record music using Cubase artist and I am very indecisive because I don’t understand all the options and it’s hard watching random youtube videos to show how to do it only if you find one. I really want to make an album on the style that I play and make a solo album. I also want to meet and play with musicians that are at least intermediate as I consider myself at above average in my playing ability. Open to collab with anyone.

I only have videos to show because I haven’t quite figured out how to film and also make the video match with the music so I just film on my phone and play through my focusrite and the PA I have at home. Let me know you have suggestions on best way to make legit loud perfect music videos. What camera should I get and also the process.
