I seem to be gravitating towards the funk these days. Quantum Flux is the real funk of nature where particles appear from nothing, exist for an extremely short time and then vanish again. Somehow this track kind of gives me that picture :-)

Following his “Return” EP released in summer 2016, M.A.D.E.S is back with yet another release. “Awakening” marks the end of an era for the French artist and the beginning of a new one. M.A.D.E.S’ talent for creating atmosphere and narratives through his compositions and melodies has always been apparent in his music and in “Awakening” he finally lets his creative impulses run wild, taking his music into its natural conclusion. Leaving behind his Electro House and Complextro beginnings, “Awakening” serves as the first chapter of M.A.D.E.S’ ascend into the New Retro and Dark Synthwave sound. Joining him are the JST newcomers Knightbots with “The Hound”. A groovy, dark and action packed Indie Dance original combining an 80’s mood with French Electro sound and a hard edge. A perfect example of what these bots from Spain are capable of and a fine introduction to their music. Enjoy!

Continuing down the darksynth path; this 4 track EP is yet another combo of religious iconography, apocalyptic themes and sinister sounding synths!

Death – A hard hitting demonic blend of synthesizers and orchestral instruments.
War – Fast paced, destructive and dangerous. This track oozes energy from every pore.
Famine – Dirty, filth ridden syths pave the way as the song builds tension, growing like a parasite.
Conquest – Contemplative yet powerful. Thematically symbolizing held-back aggression and control.

Occult 89 is the final chapter in my 'Occult' series. The album is comprised of 11 instrumental tracks all with at least a small dose of sinister electronic flavour added to them. 
Based around a slightly twisted idea of 'The Rapture' i thought it would be a fitting end to the saga.

Invocation

"Random & Polypumpkins - Deckard's Revenge" is a collaborated Synthwave track co-produced with Random, who has been producing Drum & Bass for two decades. Deckard's Revenge brings a strong compound result of a chemical reaction triggered by Synthwave and DnB magic dusts.
