YOU KNOW is a warm chicago flavoured trip. Frag Maddin met this huge guy Rayo Rufus at a party, saw him dancing and knew he had the right voice and attitude for this piece.

GO WITH THE FLOW is giving us a bit of warmth in these cold winter days. Imagine past summer when you were drifting away to the sound of music. Floating melodies and beautiful vocals make you feel cosy on the dancefloor.

TONIGHT is the perfect tune for the late hours. You just felt this tiredness and than suddenly the DJ drops this tune fills you back with energie. The bass is a strong housy one. The vocals and pads let you picture therising of a new morning.

Langenberg has been busy releasing his distinctive brand of knowledgeable deepness for well over half a decade now. As co-founder of the Essen-based label Mild Pitch, the man otherwise knows as Max Heesen has been responsible for some sublime moments in house, both on his own label, and for imprints such as Liebe*Detail, Drumpoet Community and Poker Flat.

Here, Desseous Recordings get their hands on the sumptuous release The Finisher. Informed and influenced by the classic Detroit sound, Langenberg produces yet another exceptional transmission. The title track is a smooth like liquid gold, yet contains a dub-tinged techno edge reminiscent of Langenberg’s Ribn project with Manuel Tur. The soulful piano interplay is pure Detroit meets Essen, and combines to produce one of the year’s standout moments.

Next up is Wait State, a bouncing groove featuring Langenberg’s trademark crisp drums and percussion, and a fantastic revolutionary vocal sample.

Sun and Sorrow is on a more driving tip, but maintains a familiar minor key motor city deepness. Also present here as a digital bonus is Sun and Sorrow Dub, an essential rework and a dub-wise dancefloor excursion for the heads.


Wait State

A warm welcome to the Hungarian producer talent SNYL on our imprint with his debut release "Sci-Fied". After releases on labels such as SINCOPAT, ICONYC, Perspectives Digital or Beat Boutique were happy to have two smashing Original tracks rolling down on our floor. Title track "Sci-Fied" comes along with a lot of energy and keeps the dark mood all over the full distance with a spacy vocoder highlight. "In My Head" with the beautiful vocals of Canadian artist Jessica Zese is the second track, having a mystic atmosphere and keeps the focus on a fabolous bassline. Returning to their JEAHMON! home, both Marc DePulse and Rafael Cerato teamed up for a remix and put their Capulet-fingers on "In My Head" with the typical handscript.
