This is another song where the instrumentalization was finished first and I then looked for a suitable vocal. I found it again at looperman.com. Alex Pielka's acapella singing on her Song ‚Authenticity‘ fits perfectly, also in terms of mood. Thank you Alex for your great vocal mix.

A song about the northern lights and their mysterious appearance in unusual circumstances a long, long time ago...

I hear the cries of winter I cant stand to see the sight
Like waves they came crashing but now lie  still there in the night

Its far too late for many lying on once peaceful land

The morning brings a shiver as I lay behind the  wall
But I cant stay much longer as I hear the fallen call.

Shadows cast by the setting sun another days work is done

Making music works in strange ways sometimes. After I made this, the next day
I listened to it and it sounded totally different. I guess that's what you get
when you are " in the zone " and the next day you aren't ... lol.

I've been making music with Pedro Castro since 1972. At the time, we created the alternative rock band Petrus Castrus. The music I'm placing here are just the home recordings of ongoing projects and ideas. I created a few playlists (Inéditos) according to language (PO - Portuguese; EN - English; SP - Spanish; FR - French; IT - Italian), and also for concept albums (Três Jardins). There are two long tracks (Mediterrâneo and Isaías) for full concept albums. A playlist called Synergies gathers the collaboration projects with other musicians in the fantastic SoundCloud community.
