Some of our art is made on computers, some of it is made by hand. We are particularly interested in that gray area in between where you cant really tell. All of what we create here is one work laid out in segments, all connected. The Mystic Tape Deck universe is vast and explores all manner of adding meaning to our lives, while pondering meaninglessness.

Graveltruck formed in 1990 out of the ashes of bands whose other members went on to form indie favorites like Built to Spill (C/Z Records/Warner Bros.) and Caustic Resin (C/Z Records/Up Records). After touring extensively throughout the Northwest, Graveltruck released two seven-inch singles distributed by Dutch East India Trading, entitled “Windtunnel” (1992) and “Naked (1992),” as well as their first full-length album “Gives Me the Creeps” (1993) on their hometown label Screemin’ Fez Records. Live shows in support of this first album saw Graveltruck opening for major label acts such as fIREHOSE and Best Kissers in the World, among others. This resume garnered Graveltruck the headlining spot at the first North by Northwest Music Fest, Montana’s short-lived answer to Austin’s popular South by Southwest. Shortly thereafter, Graveltruck signed to an internet label, who included the band’s popular track “Naked” on a CD compilation. In 1995, Graveltruck took first place in a battle of the bands competition earning them the free studio time they used to record what was to become their second full-length album. Unbeknownst to Graveltruck the studio where they recorded these tracks was shut down due to legal allegations, and Graveltruck’s masters were lost in the process. This unfortunate turn of events dealt a significant blow to Graveltruck’s momentum, and the band dissolved the following year. In 2011, Graveltruck reunited to re-envision and re-record the songs originally slated for this second album working with recording engineer Jeremy Jensen (singer/guitarist for The Very Most) and mastering engineer Carl Saff, who has worked with bands like Superchunk and labels such as Matador and Sup Pop. Graveltruck self-releaseed their second full-length album under the title “The Clocks Have Exploded Ages Ago” in early February, 2012. This new album features the original line-up, including David Lentz on guitar/vocals, Jann Marson on bass guitar, and Jake Hite on drums, along with a guest appearance on two tracks by John McMahon on cello.

The Sun and the Mirror is a duo out of Everett, Washington. “Dissolution to Salt and Bone'' is the debut album by Experimental Doom / Ambient Drone duo The Sun and The Mirror.

The band consists of cellist Sarah Townley, who creates a haunting wall of ambient drone and deconstructed classical melodies, and multi-instrumentalist Reggie Townley on vocals, guitar, bass, electronics and drums.
The album flows with effortless strength, powerfully blending beneath the underwater currents of its stream a unique mix of Doom, psychedelic, minimalistic noise, dark orchestral, drone and folk.

“Dissolution to Salt and Bone” was written and composed using the onboard generator of an RV during a road trip to the Oregon Coast and through Ironside Mountain, while the band was on their way to scatter a family member’s ashes.
A dramatically private meditation on mourning and loss which somehow manages to bring forth the themes of decay and the fossilisation of bones as a universal archetype for instances such as memory, change and evolution.

The Sun and The Mirror’s debut album is a phenomenally multi-layered work: spilling out blood and tears, rage and sorrow, their audial exploration in the realm of avant-garde and experimental music evokes a poetry of broken memories and incumbent omens.
