The Austin EcoNetwork (AEN) connects people, information, events, and resources related to Austin and the environment through a community website and weekly Austin EcoNewsletter. AEN began as a listserv in 2003, became a website in 2009 and added the EcoNewsletter in 2010. The website features Austin’s most comprehensive listing of green events on the EcoCalendar, Blogs written by green thought leaders, and hosts  the EcoDirectories which list the green businesses, environmental organizations, and government departments that are helping advance sustainability

The Jilters originate from a college pit band. 20 years ago, drummer, Chuck Kapelke, and pianist, Chris Dubois, played for a Harvard theater company called The Hasty Pudding. Reunited years later in California, the two started developing new material in basements and spare rooms, eventually adding Travis Hanna on bass, Jeff Worrall on trumpet, Ethan Levitt on sax, and Matt McLean on guitar.

20 years before the emergence of STS9, NASA sent Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 on a mission to the farthest reaches of the solar system and beyond. Each of these probes was equipped with identical Golden Records, special messages attached to what Carl Sagan called “a bottle launched into the cosmic ocean.” They contained numerous images and sounds from throughout the world, pieces of music from various cultures, a map identifying the location of our planet, and other information for whomever, or whatever, might find them.

While the Golden Records included greetings in 59 languages, they made no mention of nations and borders, wars and rivalries, or anything else that divides us. What they did mention was life, love, peace, birth--the things that bind us to one another and to the planet we call home. 

The Universe Inside is a reflection of this message. It is a story about human identity and the magical truth of who we are, where we’re going, and our place in the Universe. It says we are one, made of stardust and the forces of nature that evolved over billions of years. Connected by the sun, moon and stars, we are the living, breathing conscience of the Universe.

TenGrams are brothers Alessandro and Davide, who collectively have a deep and long understanding of dance music. Davide is a co-founder of N.O.I.A, one of Italy's first electronic live acts to perform and record with drum machines and synthesizers as early as 1978. He was also behind seminal Italo outfit Klein + M.B.O and proto house hit 'Dirty Talk.' Since then they have released under an array of aliases, have clocked up many hits on Beatport and this new project brings them back to their electronic roots, with influences like sci-fi movies and old school techno looming large.

Some compositions that are more or less polished to the point of being shared. Unless otherwise noted, 'recordings' are all electronic instruments.
