My grandma is one of my people. My symbol of comfort and security, of home and everything good. To face that she isn't here on Earth with me anymore is the most crushing heartbreak I have ever felt. I remind myself that I am actually lucky to feel this. Because on top of all the lessons on knitting, cooking, grafting trees, and taking care of my babies, she taught me the most important lesson through her example: unconditional love. “Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.” I'm sure there's a brand new garden blooming in Heaven now. :'-) I made this song for her and for my own healing. A combination of her favorite song and another she always sang to me.
