EX-MACHINA is a Southport electronic music performer in retro synthwave, sci-fi soundcapes and electro music.

We are Oceanis, a 5 piece metal band from Liverpool, UK, with a passion for creating music that is bold, dynamic and above all, exceptionally heavy. 

Combining technical riffs, lifting choruses and sparing moments of clarity, we aim to bludgeon and sooth the listener. Drawing influence from bands such as Lamb Of God, Textures, Opeth, Gojira, Deftones and Mastodon, we put our all into everything we do in order to create the best possible music we can and we're always striving to do better! 

We have recently featured on USA based webzine, Pig Squeals and Breakdowns', June compilation CD. In 2011 we competed in, and won, the Liverpool Tattoo Conventions' Battle of the Bands. During June and July 2013 we competed in the Liverpool Metal to the Masses Battle of the bands competition and won 1st prize which was a place on the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock Open Air. We have also featured on the February 2014 Metal Hammer cover CD, The Great British Trend kill.

We have shared the stage with some great bands such as Silent Screams, Devil Sold His Soul, Feed The Rhino, Malefice and Carcer City and, in previous incarnations, Testament and Black Dhalia Murder. Our live shows always promise to be exciting and explosive.

In April 2012 we released our debut E.P 'Planets', which was well received by our fans and media and is available for streaming and free download on our Soundcloud page.

We are hardworking, dedicated, professional and above all determined. Our second EP 'Totality' is available for free download on our bandcamp page and streaming on Soundcloud. Alongside a making of feature on Youtube. 

Good old English punk rock with influences of Ska, Metal and blues, mind blowing, insanely fast guitar solos and riffs, fat bass lines that could knock you out, killer drums and beats, and vocals meaner than drunken choir, that will have you jumping around and begging for more, rough round the edges, but it's raw and live punk rock. Come to a show and feel the noise!

Scare Tactics are a Liverpool based band bringing back a slice of old school metal with a whole new approach. Formed in 2010, they've played many prestigious venues around the UK, including Bloodstock festival in 2012, and are currently working on their new album!

The Scare Tactics 'sound' has evolved from a mutual love of great music to create a blend of power, groove and melody that encapsulates music lovers everywhere!
