The Jewel Of The Lyre or Vega is the fifth-brightest star in the night sky, easily visible to the naked eye with a magnitude of 0.03. It is outshone in brightness only by Sirius, Canopus, Arcturus, and Alpha Centauri. Throughout history, Vega and its constellation Lyra have been called the jewel, and with its surrounding stars, Vega depicts an ancient stringed instrument, the lyre. In Arabic tradition, Vega is connected to a predatory bird, either an eagle or a vulture, and the star's name is derived from the Arabic phrase 'the swooping eagle.' This is echoed in some versions of the Greek lyre story, which also involve an eagle.

The Snow Queen - The Forest

The world was still asleep in the quiet moments before dawn when a polite knock interrupted the silence. When she reached the door, the only sign of a visitor was the faint sound of a carriage disappearing into the distance. On the porch was a single, ornate invitation, its wax seal still intact. As she broke the seal and opened the envelope, she felt a sense of curiosity and mystery. What lay inside was not simply an invitation, but a message that might just change her life forever.

*Keith makes observations everywhere he goes, and in this instance, his tours of local castles led to this idea - those great, huge, thickly-hewn doors are actually hung on very small hinges. Of course, Terry sees the image as a metaphor -great change often begins with small starts. Literal or metaphorical? We 'll leave that up to the listener.

This piano composition takes its cues from Beethoven's Bagatelle "Für Elise".  It seemed a bit of fun to give Beethoven's famous piece a new twist and so we have.  Thank you to my dear friends Oddrun, Arne, and Peter, for this marvelous and joyful experience of working together.  It brings us all a bit closer together.

Professor Pezhman Mosleh – Iranian Composer – Poet – Writer / Cinema Philosopher and scholar in music history
Professor Pezhman Mosleh is the first person in is a pioneer in Iranian neo romanticism style. And according to SABC News (South African Broadcasting Corporation) he is inspired by Beethoven and Chopin in composing music. The Nelson Mandela World Foundation also recognized his dedication to Mandela, which Nelson Mandela himself had heard, and honored Professor Mosleh for his “cultural contribution to promoting peace and raising global awareness.” This work was also published on the website of the famous European newspaper, Le Monde.
According to the Iranian Cinema Press Agency, Pezhman Mosleh is a musician who intertwines philosophy with music.
The world’s youngest pianist, four-year-old Ava Sadeghipour, is a student of Professor Mosleh.

Dr. Irvin David Yalom, one of the most prominent intellectual figures in the world and one of the most influential psychiatrists and authors of the 20th and 21st centuries, has written about Professor Pezhman Mosleh: 
"I've received many tributes but none touched me as yours did. You are both a musician and a fine poet. An eminent Iranian composer, Pezhman Mosleh, has honored me with this gift."  
Professor Rebecca Goldstein, a renowned philosopher and author and winner of the National Humanities Medal in the United States, has also spoken in a note about the beauty of the union of philosophy and music in Professor Mosleh’s work:
“Professor Pezhman Mosleh’s work is a unique music and an artistic treasure.”
The Nelson Mandela World Foundation also recognized his dedication to Mandela, which Nelson Mandela himself had heard, and honored Professor Mosleh for his “cultural contribution to promoting peace and raising global awareness.” This work was also published on the website of the famous European newspaper, Le Monde.
Mosleh is the only Iranian artist whose works have been described by media outlets such as SABC News as inspired by Chopin and Beethoven; yet, they believe that what pulses through his melodies is not merely a Western legacy—these works are deeply intertwined with the roots of Iran.
This mysterious interweaving of the subtlety of Western thought and the warmth of the Eastern soul is the very unique essence that sets Mosleh’s art apart from others.
"Music Information Center of Poland" believes that the music of Mosleh is close to Zbigniew Priesner’s works, who is The renowned Polish composer and creator of the scores for Krzysztof Kieślowski’s movies.
Dr. Ruthellen Josselson, the outstanding psychotherapist, researcher, editor of the APA journal qualitative psychology, has also said: “Professor Pezhman Mosleh is a true artist whose work touched me deeply”.
Dr. David Spiegel, Professor Robert Holub, Daniel Dennett and Dr. Molyn Leszcz —prominent figures worldwide—have also praised his works and ideas.
Yael Goldstein Love, American novelist, editor and book critic, co-founder and editorial director of the literary studio Plympton,, said: “The Prof. Mosleh’s work is deeply moving and beautiful.”
Master Milad Kiai, an outstanding Iranian composer and musician, says: “The great artist, Professor Pezhman Mosleh, have always been the pride of Iranian culture and music.”
Master Mohammad Nouri, one of the greatest singers in the history of Iran, wrote:
“Pezhman Mosleh is the voice of thought within music.”
Professor Mohammad Sarir, Chairman of the Board of the Iranian Music House, expressed his appreciation for Professor Pezhman Mosleh by saying:
“He is a master who has performed my works in a beautiful and worthy manner.”
He also praised Professor Mosleh’s valuable achievements in the fields of culture and thought, emphasizing their profound significance.
The works and activities of Professor Mosleh have always transcended the boundaries of art and have also been influential in the philosophical, educational, and social fields.
