I have a bona fide passion for mixing beats. I'm not genre-exclusive by any means.  I've been in the scene since the glory days of the 90's. I never had a real interest in mixing but, while living in Key West, FL, a good friend recognized untapped talent in me to which I was blind. Furthermore, she introduced me to the world of mixing music and I never looked back. Fast forward about 15 years later here in 2021 & I feel as though I am now at the point where I can potentially make a career out of it. While I spin all styles of music, I prefer electronic music including Florida Breakbeats, Miami Bass, Vocal Trance,  Anthem Trance, Epic/Uplifting Trance, Progressive Trance, Techno, Tech House, Tribal House, Tribal Tech House, Progressive House, Big Room House, Funky House, Deep/Soulful House, Disco House and Bass House/G-House. I'm sure I'm missing a few but you get the gist. Oh, and living in the ATL, I can't forget Hip Hop. I'm pretty sure that's a prerequisite for DJ's in this city.....to be able to spin Hip Hop. My influences include DJ Paul Santana of Tampa, who I consider a personal friend, DJ Kre-8, DJ Debbie D, Lange, Above & Beyond/Oceanlab, DJ Peter Worth, DJ Icey, Baby Anne, Suzy Solar, Armin Van Buuren, Dash Berlin, Markus Schulz, Carl Cox, Erick Morillo (RIP), Rabbit in the Moon (Monk, Confucius & Bunny). Jackal & Hyde, JimitheGenius, Merlyn, Stryke, Josh Wink, Sandra Collins and the list could go on and on. I currently have no plans to produce Electronic Music. I've just found that I have the ability to read a crowd and select the track that always seems to get them moving. Then again, I never expected to be a DJ either so I hesitate to completely rule anything out. Jaime Merlo a.k.a JimiTheGenius is a South Florida producer, remixer and dj that has leaped into the Worldwide Bass Music spotlight for countless years now. With his dope productions covering everything from modern day Miami Bass, Electro, Booty and Techno. His Miami Electro Bass sound, is a unique style of low end mixed with his dirty Kuad dropping futuristic sounds. For years now, his one of a kind JTG remixes have been known to help dj's get the party started off right. He has played throughout the East and West coast, while holding down the South at all the various massive shows 
throughout the country.

In 2003, Jimi joined forces with his good friend Richard Zarate a.k.a. Ashrock, to form Hydraulix aka Hydroz. Their first commercial release as 
Hydraulix, which was released on their self owned imprint (co-owned with Dj Merlyn), @kuadrecordings The buzz which “The Hydraulix E.P.” generated, was unimaginable and props began to role in for the duo. They've been a staple in the Miami Bass Electro scene and their Bass bumpin beats with their dirty low end, have been damaging dance floors worldwide for decades now. 

In 2009, Jimi joined forces once again with Supernaut, to form $uper Geniu$. They both have been dropping straight Miami Bass x Breaks heat for years now, up and down the East coast and at festivals like EDC Orlando, FSOB, and Culture's Candyland festival to name a few. 

JimiTheGenius and his low end sound, has quickly become a worldwide favorite in Bass music. And one can only ensure that his sound will continue to push the low end boundaries through out the world of music.

James Wolfe – Artist Bio

James Wolfe is a veteran DJ, producer, and label founder whose career spans over three decades in the electronic music industry. Widely respected for his technical mastery, deep musical knowledge, and trailblazing work in electro bass and breaks, Wolfe began collecting vinyl in 1991 and was DJing high school parties by age 14. By 1995, he was performing at major Florida raves, including the seminal RAPTURE event at the West Palm Beach Fairgrounds, and soon became a fixture on the U.S. East Coast rave circuit.

In 1999, Wolfe founded Frajile Recordings Inc., becoming one of the youngest artists in the scene to launch a record label. His debut release, Techtonic Plates EP, was co-produced with David Noller (Scratch-D of Dynamix II), who played a pivotal role in Wolfe’s early development. Around the same time, Wolfe co-founded the electro group Resident Alien with Exzakt, releasing a series of influential records that helped define the Florida electro sound.

Wolfe’s extensive DJ career has taken him to top venues and festivals across the U.S., including Ultra Music Festival, Future Sound of Breaks, and Winter Music Conference events, sharing stages with legends such as Anthony Rother, Carl Finlow, and Karl Bartos of Kraftwerk. Known for his versatile freestyle sets and seamless mixing, Wolfe continues to captivate audiences with dynamic performances and cutting-edge selections.

As a producer, he has built a vast discography of original material and remixes, collaborating with a wide range of artists including Rabbit in the Moon, Jackal & Hyde, Code Rising, AE35, and many more. Under his label Frajile Recordings, he remains a driving force in underground electro, committed to pushing boundaries and championing innovative sound.
