gently waking up the festival at the pond beach at noon at the beginning of the Curve pond party block, all day Saturday, 21 July.  it was a gorgeous summer day and so fun to share the stage with all the homies.  BRS, Stone, Bri, Diego, Manoj, Wu, Dakini, Danny, Derek, Erica and Kenny in full force.  muh lurv!  and the Shift crew throw a righteous hootenanny, I tell you what.  on and off the playa.  been a great honor to light up the pyramid stage over the years.  mad respect!  enjoy!

Tharsis is the name of a region on Mars that is home to the largest volcanoes in our solar system. The last one erupted 25 million years ago, just yesterday when you consider time on a cosmic scale.

With the successful landing of the Perseverance mission to Mars yesterday, I felt it suiting to name this set after something spectacular and entirely unique about our amazing red neighbor.
