katharsis is a label founded by the copenhagen-based artist jjjacob in the spring of 2020 focusing on emotionally charged music. The vision of the label is to show the world how music is our best tool to process moods, thoughts and emotions by self-therapeutic involvement with the arts. katharsis showcases various different branches of electronic, ambient and experimental music on their releases featuring artists from all across the world. On this monthly radio show on Ma3azef.live, jjjacob and invited guests who are involved with katharsis exhibit their current musical inspirations for 2 hours. 
In this katharsis show, jjjacob fills out the first hour with a dominance of contemplative ambient floaters before letting his clubbier side loose with a handful of assorted bangers towards the end. Subsequently, this month’s guest @cubanchamberofcommerce011 , who has an EP coming out on katharsis later this year, spoils us with his eclectic selection of danceable, experimental and ambient tracks.

katharsis w/ jjjacob & Cuban Chamber Of Commerce (April 1st)

Cuban Chamber of Commerce is no desparate initiative of Fidel Castro‘s party but the alias of a true-to-the-bone character from the Balkan rave metropolis Belgrade. Born into the chaos and confusion of the Yugoslav war, Žarko concludes that the only good thing for him as a kid was listening to psy-trance even though he was profoundly disappointed by his first psy-trance rave: “I was like, NATO, please bomb me again, music was too god damn loud and place was smell like ass.”
