I make little sounds, and dig other's sounds. I'm also a media studies PhD student at Rutgers' SC&I working on a research project looking at SoundCloud.

The Spirit World was formed in October 2012 by veteran Philadelphia musician, Mike Reis (formerly of Valsalva and Godpocket). The Time Scavenger EP was recorded with Pete Rydberg at 1935 Studios (Philadelphia, PA), and released on June 3, 2014.

The Spirit World released their first 7-song album entitled, Memento Mori in September 2016. Mixed and mastered by Pete Rydberg at 1935 Studios (Philadelphia, PA)

The Spirit World music represents authenticity, freedom, and inspiration.
