‘The Real Thing’ is the 1st single from my 1st mixtape, John Angeles. It’s an indie rock song inspired by surf pop, shoegaze, & 90s singer-songwriters, and I guess it's about keeping yourself honest.  It’s also John Angeles’ 1st track, and it feels amazing to finally share it.
