This week, we continue our series examining the 9 values of UCC by looking at how worship is our celebration. We are made for community, from the very beginning God wired us for togetherness. This includes our worship and celebration. We explore what worshiping in community means and how it can help us. Our main passage this week is Hebrews 10:23-25. 

Worship is our Celebration

We continue our Thursday night series on the Minor Prophets by examining the Book of Amos. Amos uses covenants/contract language to highlight how the people of Israel are not doing God’s will. They are ignoring the needs of the poor, the orphaned, and the widowed. We see just how much our God cares for those groups and why God gets so angry when we ignore the cries of those in need.
