Nic is the producer on this Song..He also played rhythm guitar, furished percussion, bass, and base synth music..Also did vocals and backup vocals..any special FX, and the awesome artwork for
this project.. It has been a Gas and totally enjoyable experience... Stonerjazz is responsible for the lead guitar, lyrics, and vocals...  Hope ya'll enjoy this dark slightly humorous tune/poem...

For this challenge:
Disquiet Junto Project 0528: Landscape Architecture
The Assignment: Forge an unobtrusive path through musical flora.

I stared by writing a simple but quite precise chord progression with voicings and all (A-A-B+Coda), and recorded that on 3 electric bass tracks performing artificial harmonics, a 4th melodic bass track using a volume pedal, and a 5th track of normal bass notes. Glued it with an analogue synth pad.

To walk unobstructive through that  full and chatty bed of bass guitar notes  I used a Melodica line, performed on the higher register and recorded using my ribbon microphone to grab as much room sound and less attack as possible, avoiding to interfere with the sparkling, ping-ponging bell-like harmonics.

AudioBake - Prepare To Die (Open Collab)

A piano composition, either to be played by two pianists, or by one pianist with four arms.

Part of a new album I've been uploading, featuring compositions written over the last several months of 2021. If anyone can pinpoint what all of these compositions have in common, musically-speaking, put it in the comments - there was a concept tying everything together but I'm not going to reveal what it was unless if someone figures it out on their own.

This album is going to be called "Prohibited Topics," a tribute to the textbook authors and teachers whose work is being disrupted by right wing efforts to stifle education about racial disparity and structural racism in the US.
