Makeunder is an experimental pop band out of Oakland, CA. The members of the group pull together diverse musical influences - from Renaissance motet, to synth pop, R&B, and art rock, to modern orchestral music - to craft large, powerful songs about death & migration & loss, sung with immediacy and fire.

Founded in 2013 and officially established in 2014, The Weingärtner Phonogram Company is a label to record, distribute, and promote new works by acoustic folk artists, classical chamber ensembles, composers, jazz combos, and electronica.

My name is Brian Weingartner, and I'm an audio engineer, musician, and producer.  I've been playing trombone for just over 17 years and working in audio since 2007.  I'm originally from Arizona, spent some time in Oakland, California, and now live in Vancouver BC.  Currently getting the new label up and running while working as a freelance engineer and going back to school to finish my Bachelors in Music from the University of British Columbia.

Stephen Ridley is a composer and orchestrator based in Los Angeles. His music features niche percussion instruments and electronics, blended with the traditional orchestra. 

Stephen has written music for productions on the ABC and HBO television networks in the US, as well as for short and feature films. His concert works for percussion have enjoyed many performances, both domestic and international. Stephen received his Masters in Music Composition from UCLA, where he studied with the late, great Jerry Goldsmith.
