At the age of 6 I heard my very first house track. It was Glorious. "Do it Again" by Razor & Guido. My older cousin had the cassette laying around his room waiting to be thrown away, after all it was 1 track on a cassette not my cousins cup of tea. He was more than happy to give it to me as a gift. From that moment forth i was hooked, i related the sound i heard to "Ace of Bass" which i heard earlier on in my life and began to decipher the art of electronic music. Now at the ripe age of 24, 18 years later, the timing was right and I am beginning to DJ. Its been an long and interesting road leading up to this moment of here and now...Godspeed MARTY MoR

Drew Proud is an NYC-based house DJ / producer / label head and contributor of the sound and art community collective Rapture.

He brings to the table a defiant blend of house, layering playful beats with delightfully arrogant melodies.

Apart from working on his own productions and sharing music he loves, he spends his time as a mentor for upcoming artists through the Rapture collective.

Harlem Born and raised.. Growing up in a American Dominican Spanish household exposed to all types of music. Birthday's, Baby showers, Holidays and weekends full of dancing and Laughter. All the while Micheal jackson's off the wall vinyl playing along.. mean while aunts and uncles switching to Frank Reyes bachata, Kinito Mendes merengue, La India Baladas, etc. On School days ears with full access to a wide range collection of CD's. From SWV, Tribe,The Roots,Nas ,Bill Withers,Sade,Bee gees... the List goes on and on....With My aunt being a computer science major i had access to a computer which allowed me to discover music editing software. Once i learn how to take parts of songs i liked and manipulate the pitch and frequencies i was hooked.. The rest is history..!!

I've been committed twice. I'm not crazy though. I swear.
