Every year, the "Disquiet Junto"  poses the same project, ever since the very first Junto project, back in January 2012: "Record the sound of ice in a glass and make something with it"

Here, I've recorded 3 icecubes tumbling down in a drinking glass - and then spent a couple of hours mangling, stretching, reverbing, reversing, delaying, eq'ing, deleting, restarting, re-recording, giving-up'ing, and then still posting...

...it's a great, but difficult, challenge to make something. This is, as is probably the easiest, an "ethereal" version of my experiments.

My first foray into Disquietude.

Made using a Digitakt and Microfreak. 

With the exception of the pad sound, everything is arranged on the Digitakt using samples of ice in a cup (or a blender). I loved the bell-like quality of the glass when pitched way down, and built the track around that.
