Recorded sounds provide a rich and extensive palette of colors and textures.  I like to glean what I can from single short samples of sound.  I particularly like squeaks and creaks.  Lately, I've become enamored with the enormous selection of vinyl records available on archive.org.

Jo Thomas is an artist composer and creative musician based in London who works with live electronic and installation. Her work is published through her own imprint Soft Apple , Naxos, NMC recordings, Holiday Records and Entracte.
