Alex Kapo's vocal jazz stylings places a keen focus on the tradition of the music, swinging, and most of all a sense of joviality and humour. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, Carmen McRae, and many others, Kapo places great value on the integrity of the repertoire, often including lesser known verses and nods to the greats in the arrangements performed. 

Reduced to its purest form the Alex Kapo Quintet loves to perform, swing, and have fun.

Si Debanks is an independent artist based near Oxford in the UK. He is a singer, guitarist and keyboardist who previously performed in local bands but now produces solo material. 

Simon’s primary influences are drawn from the indie music scene of the 90s and the first decade of the new millennium, but you will also find plenty of contemporary flavours. 

Simon’s music has been played on local radio, notably BBC Introducing in Oxfordshire & Berkshire and Windrush Radio in West Oxfordshire, UK.
