Hide Away

No new recordings but this is kind of old and I don't think that I posted it because it was a thrown together tune I was showing a friend. It was recorded in his living room on a voice activated recorder hanging off some duct tape from the blades on a paddle fan. ( Not spinning ! ) Not my usual style but I had to get it out of me because it was driving me crazy. I hope to be back recording some real stuff soon !!

a new song which I've tried various ways before settling for this way - not necessarily because it's the right one but because I don't have the energy to go backwards or forwards with it any more. suspect it needs another instrument, one which I don't know how to play. anyway I started writing this before Dylan's Tempest album came out and finished it after. hearing that record changed its direction, I'm sure. this is about the daily grind, what we do to try to escape it and why, ultimately, it's all doomed. Ha!

Oh, and rebel's a verb, not a noun, in this song. It's a crap rhyming word as a noun. After pebble you're pretty much screwed ;-)

This track explores that thinking using references from Christian, Muslim and Buddhist writings and acknowledges the fact that no one really has an answer. There are only questions.
