Pete Fossi and I covered this in the 70's. We put it together again 50 years later with this recording.
A beautiful song about life. Both Sides Now was written by Joni Mitchell  a Canadian born singer-songwrtier, in 1966. It was first recorded by Judy Collins. Mitchell has said that "Both Sides Now" was inspired by a passage in Henderson the Rain King, a 1959 novel by Saul Bellow.
I was reading ... Henderson the Rain King on a plane and early in the book Henderson ... is also up in a plane. He's on his way to Africa and he looks down and sees these clouds. I put down the book, looked out the window and saw clouds too, and I immediately started writing the song. I had no idea that the song would become as popular as it did.

"Take It Easy" is a song by the American rock band Eagles, written by Jackson Browne and Eagles band member Glenn Frey, who also provides lead vocals. It was the band's first single, released on May 1, 1972. Pete Fossi and I sang this back in the 70's and have always wanted to cover it again. Well, thanks to Peter's Engineering genius, he has brought this iconic song to life. This is a great accomplishment to be able to again sing, play and cover such a memorable song.

Tribute to my best friend, Joe Pedersen who we lost recently to CJD. Joe was an inspiration in life and music to everyone who was lucky enough to have him in their life. He will be missed by so many and I'm sure he is in heaven picking that twelve string and singing with his brother, John Prine, and others. He will always be a real Troubadour in so many ways.

This is a song dedicated to my beautiful wife Suzi. We have known each other since High School and Reacquainted at our 50th High School Reunion. This a picture of us trying out for the Talent Show...and no, we did not make it singing "500 Miles." But we finally made it together. Thanks to Pete Fossi for his spirited assistance in helping me get this song recorded. His help was the key for me doing this and is really appreciated.
