My name is Jamie Lidell and I'm gonna delve into the heady magic of creating music in a modern studio, probe the depths of production, get tech crazy with mixing tricks, studio skills and equipment. I'll be joined by fellow musicians, engineers and all-round audiophiles who kindly share their tips, stories and ingenious insight from the bizarre world of music production. I shall answer questions and seek knowledge from other music makers on a quest to discover how to make things sound RIGHT. I will also share some studio trickery on each episode as I explore some of my favourite innovations in music tech and my creations... outpourings from the weirdo brain! Welcome to a place for musicians, producers and listeners alike as we "cheers" our love of everything audio.

Audioban, Türkiye’den yeni sesleri dinleyiciyle buluşturmayı amaçlayan bir müzik inisiyatifi. Pek çok farklı mekanlarda kurguladığı etkinliklerle müzik üretimini destekliyor ve müziğin dinleyiciye iletilmesine aracı oluyor.

Audioban’ın etkinlik programında konser ve DJ performanslarının yanı sıra atölye çalışmaları, söyleşiler, plakçı buluşmaları, müzik kolektifleriyle ortak projeler bulunuyor. Etkinliklerin bilindik konser mekanlarının dışına çıkarılarak, şehrin farklı noktalarında yeni paylaşım alanlarının yaratılması da Audioban’ın hedefleri arasında.

Sabina Khujaeva Abay is a composer and pianist whose music lives in the space between cultures, traditions, and sonic experimentation. She creates works shaped by rich timbral palettes, inventive rhythmic energy, and expressive nuance, moving fluidly between acoustic, electroacoustic, and spatial forms. Her passion for the visual arts infuses her compositions with a cinematic quality, bringing vivid imagery and atmosphere to sound.
Her music often engages in cross-cultural dialogues, expanding expressive horizons through the fusion of diverse traditions. She has collaborated with ensembles such as the Hezarfen Ensemble, Schallfeld Ensemble, and Omnibus Ensemble, with performances at international festivals. Notable works include Luminescences, Astray, Ardent Meditation, and the original soundtrack for the film Cadi, adapted from Hüseyn Gürpınar’s novel.
