I started playing around with synthesizers and digital audio workstations in the early 2000's when computers were finally able to process audio on a serious level. My first DAW was a program called "Orion", which is still around actually. I thought it was the coolest thing, until I discovered FL Studio, which at the time was called "Fruity Loops". It blew the lid off what I thought was possible and opened up a whole new set of possibilities for me. Ten years later, a plethora of new innovative programs have flooded the market. It's impossible to say which program is best, but nowadays I use Ableton Live as my go-to, but FL Studio is still a terrific program.

As an instrumentalist I am a guitarist, but as a musician I am a producer of ambient music. I have no desire to show off and impress you with blazing guitar solos or razzle-dazzle you with arpeggios flying at you at 260 beats-per-minute. I want to reach you. I want to say something without saying it. I want to present you with a blank canvas and let you decide what the picture looks like, and where you fit into it. But most of all, I want to make music that I enjoy listening to. Ambient music is typically characterized by its vastness. I want to get lost in that vastness. Come get lost with me.

BIOGRAPHY
Adam is a composer, producer, programmer, and researcher of music and interactive audio. He creates music for video games, multimedia installations and performances, as well as popular and symphonic music. His work involves acoustic instruments, synthesizers, sample banks, lots of programming, vintage computers, and their emulators.

Adam composed a part of the award-winning original soundtrack of a best selling role playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance in a collaboration with Jan Valta (@janvalta). The game has been developed by Warhorse Studios (@warhorse_studios).

He is a founding member of the Wasteland Wailers (@wasteland_wailers), an international swing and country band. The band is associated with the Overmare Studios, working on the music for fan-based game Ashes of Equestria.

He also collaborated Anneli Heed, Jakub Hybler, Jan Trojan, the Prague Spring Festival, and the Czech Technical University in Prague. He currently conducts a game audio course at Charles University.

I started playing the snare drum at the age of 10 in the town’s musical band.
 Up to 18 years I've been teaching myself to play drums and percussions, afterwards I attended drum lessons and ensemble music classes with local teachers.
 In 1998 I started attending drum lessons lasted 3 years with Maestro Marco Volpe (graduated at Berklee College of Music) in Milan.
 During this period and thereafter, I participated in numerous master classes with Italian and foreign drummers such as Christian Meyer (Elio e le Storie Tese, Mediaset), Ellade Bandini (Fabrizio de Andrè, Mina, etc.), Elvin Jones, and the clinics of jazz percussions, ensemble music and ear training held for two weeks during the important event "Umbria Jazz Clinics" with Ron Savage, Jim Kelly (Berklee College of Music), etc...
 In 1999 I studied for three months Cuban drums and percussions at 'Escuela National de Arte' in Havana (Cuba) and privately with Maestro Enrique Pla (Irakere).
 My experiences as a drummer and percussionist were dictated by my musical taste, I also had a chance to play in punk rock, progressive rock, Brazilian, jazz and afro bands, and to contribute to electro-acoustic sound design and cultural events, music therapy sessions during Shiatsu and Yoga meditation. I currently collaborate with an ethno-jazz band.
 From 2000 I started to approach to the study of piano and harmonies thanks to the help of Maestro Massimo Dal Pra (Conservatory of Cuneo), which I attended for two years and to the use of software as creative sound generators.

For some years now I have been carrying a personal project of composition and sound research made of natural sounds such as leaves, stones, water, ethnic and self-built percussions and with the help of synthesizers and software such as Reason, Ableton Live and Cubase. The content is recorded in external as in the case of the leaves in the forest (listen to the song "Falling Certainty") and in my home studio where I have personally develop the step of mixing and mastering.

Currently my goal is to continue to compose and experiment, and to be able to find an emotional balance between electronic and natural sounds.
