マサキ・サカモトらしい聴き心地よい端正なプログラミングと、アトム・ハートらしいキッ
チュなアレンジやネタ使い、それらがネット経由での音源データのキャッチボールによって
練られ、織り交ざって成立した、二人の個性が完璧に融合したアルバム「Alien
Symphony」。サカモト曰く「ほぼ制作に丸3 年を費やした」スペシャルなアルバムが
2010 年5 月、ついにお目見えする。

SL@yRe＆The Feminine Stoolξ名義で二人組ユニットとしてデビュー後、'07 年の
初ソロ・アルバム「ENDOTONES」でもアトム・ハートとコラボし、話題を呼んだサカモト。
本業である神経内科医としての生活のかたわら、音楽制作への飽くなき欲求を確認す
るかのようにアトムと楽曲を共作、コンピCD（’08 年リリース）に作品提供するなど親交
を深め、本格的に二人での音楽の共同制作を開始していた。そして、ついにその日々
の成果として、二人の初のオリジナルアルバムという形で結実したのが本作である。作
家陣には作詞とゲスト・ヴォーカルでコシミハルやコッペ、作詞でクリス・モスデルなど、
ポップかつコアなメンバーが参加。アーティーと呼べる整然さを持ちながらも、先の展開
が全く読めないおもちゃ箱をひっくり返したようなエレクトロニック・アルバムが仕上がった。
