"The reason I selected this for the series was, for myself, it being personal time piece, the quality of the tracks and the mix being consistently good. Building through some great soulful house vocals and dubs into some deep cuts that haven't dated since it's release in 2002. Having quite a few of these on vinyl picked up around the time, including Mindflight's "Release", Derrick White's "Soul 2 Let Go" and Kerri Chandler's "Atmospheric Beats" the mix by silky deep house man Miguel Migs was never far from the earlobes at the time. And being released on the ever consistently good Naked Music label, its great from start to finish. A true reflection of the kinds of tracks I played out in sets when I started out DJing. Enjoy!!" "The following is a mix to enjoy while alone, weather its on the bus, plane, sitting in a park, at the beach or when you want to nap... ESP when you want to NAP!!! It takes from the 50s,60s'70s''80's eras, a time when lyrics told you stories and guitars made you feel warm and fuzzy. This isn't a mix of obscure tracks you've never heard to prove my 'diggin clout' but a mix to just sit back and enjoy, Loves songs that relax you and make you drift way and at some points you can even sing along.  It also features a few tracks my mum and dad would sit and play us on the farm (the Everly brothers) and a movie that our family was obsessed with it. (La bamba). These particular tracks take me to a time when I fell in love with the stories in songs and it was the start of my obsession for music you enjoy! NFTCM (not for the chins mix)"

CC:DISCO! (Have a Cry Mix)

"Kings of the World" is a new film about the world of Gipsy music in Southern France. The clip  features Gipsy Royale guitarist Mario Regis, Andre Reyes and Canut singing and some wonderful scenes of the life they lead in this unique world of music.
