'Common Enemy' is about the fact that a common threat can unite humans and make them look past certain differences to face a common Enemy. More specifically the song is about Someone that acts as a common enemy, someone trying to carry all the weight of the blame to give others a reason to unite and cooperate for good. Song is somewhat inspired from the war in Ukraine particularly how the russian invasion has brought NATO members to tighten their links.

Wow, this is the 5th song posted from the album I started using demo tracks given to me by Wou-Wou & the Wormling during the start of the pandemic! This song was inspired by the conservative agenda, which at the time was more noticeably gaining momentum, to systematically whittle away and block the rights of those groups that did’t align with their values. The conservative agenda continues to gain strength, and it is up to the people to support each other in maintaining and advancing rights (including those of groups one is not a part of).    

It has been a great pleasure working with Stricknice, Bitzone, and Wou-Wou on these tracks. We are blessed by all the support the SoundCloud community has given to our releases. We can’t wait to share more music with you all.

Mascarpone - Holigarchy

Mascarpone is a electronic music EBM oriented project created in 2018 by Hugo Bussiere. His influences come mainly from old school EBM to all kind of electronic music.

With this new release, Mascarpone wanted to go deeper into the direction I took on his latest EP Structures.

There’s lots of nods to the great techno-electronic producers of the distant and recent past, he wanted to pay homage to artists such as Dopplereffekt, Model 500, Kraftwerk or even The Hacker.

In other words, "Holigarchy" it’s an ode to futuristic electronic music.

It takes you deeper into dystopian atmospheres and mechanical feelings through some analog sounds, synthesizer and drum machines beats.

"Jörg S. born in Cologne, from youth on, is fascinated by all kinds of art, so he taught himself the saxophone very early. Nowadays flutes of all kind are also part of the equipment, as are jaw harps, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.
He was and is always involved in many band projects and session events.
In the 80s he was a saxophonist in the Adam Noidlt Intermission Orchestra with gigs in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Basel. Very early on he also worked as a writer with live readings in the Cologne area and was a painter with large formats for many years, all in addition to his job as a graphic designer. Now, retired, he is devoted solely to music: home recording with the platform of choice, Soundcloud and global collaborations."
