Illusion

Here's another love related ballad that I wrote in 2006, around the time when I married my wonderful wife and my best friend Anita!! The lyrics are about how seldom my beautiful wife wears blue, which is my favorite color, but she looks great in all colors! It's another love ballad that wasn't recorded so well, I still had my old 8-track Tascam back then and I think it could have been mixed a whole lot better. I was still tinkering and getting used to the recorder! Charlie sang it perfectly and I double tracked his vocals, he also added some harmonica on the track as well. The video I put together last month and I threw in a lot of eye-candy and special effects at it to enhance it!

 I had forgotten about this song but when I was producing the video for "She Rescues Me" I noticed the song on the CD and did a video for it too! The melody is nice and the lyrics are sweet and it flows ok. Not my best song but it ain't my worst either! Very corny and old fashioned lyrics but hey, I'm an old fashioned lyric myslefI!😂 Take care and I hope everybody enjoys it! Thanks for dropping by and listening! "Jörg S. born in Cologne, from youth on, is fascinated by all kinds of art, so he taught himself the saxophone very early. Nowadays flutes of all kind are also part of the equipment, as are jaw harps, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.
He was and is always involved in many band projects and session events.
In the 80s he was a saxophonist in the Adam Noidlt Intermission Orchestra with gigs in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Basel. Very early on he also worked as a writer with live readings in the Cologne area and was a painter with large formats for many years, all in addition to his job as a graphic designer. Now, retired, he is devoted solely to music: home recording with the platform of choice, Soundcloud and global collaborations."
