This is a song that originated with Mark, and existed as a song he wrote on the piano after, like many of us, getting back into playing following an extended hiatus. He sent it to me, who added the fretless bass and some delay-heavy electric guitar. After that, Mark added the catchy, powerful drums and made a couple of key editorial changes. Then we got Tez involved, who added not only the screaming guitar parts in the meat of the song, but also the entire coda at the end. Tez also produced and mixed this for us, expertly. This is the first of hopefully many songs Tez and I do with Mark. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it.

I'm a bit obsessed with the very small (subatomic) and the very big (the universe) and time (the great yawning vastness of it); not to mention how it all started (the big bang) and how it might end. "Jörg S. born in Cologne, from youth on, is fascinated by all kinds of art, so he taught himself the saxophone very early. Nowadays flutes of all kind are also part of the equipment, as are jaw harps, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.
He was and is always involved in many band projects and session events.
In the 80s he was a saxophonist in the Adam Noidlt Intermission Orchestra with gigs in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Basel. Very early on he also worked as a writer with live readings in the Cologne area and was a painter with large formats for many years, all in addition to his job as a graphic designer. Now, retired, he is devoted solely to music: home recording with the platform of choice, Soundcloud and global collaborations."
