For me, logical and beautiful chord progressions are still musical wonderland :-) ... fortunately you can get them, but there is still enough to do, after all it is supposed to become music :-D.  This track is based on one midi loop - a chord progression* that starts at A major. Being an autodidact, the numbers don't mean much to me until I hear the chords :-) ... Instruments, Arrangements & solos are all my own work :-) So it's always a nice little adventure. - The chord sequence is from the "shop", everything else is loving programming and improvisation. - Additional fun: playing the "real" flute against the Midi flugelhorn with the wind controller. This track is a remix of a piece that I uploaded in January 2022, which I created using a set of self-imposed limitations. I restricted myself to creating tracks using only one synthesizer, and I only allowed myself to repeat the same loop without expanding it beyond the A section. This was a way for me to find meaning in creating music within a limited workflow and timeframe, as I aimed to upload a new track every day. This experience has allowed me to create music more quickly and efficiently, which I continue to do today using more complex structures consisting of 4-5 sections and utilizing DAW software. Since older tracks tend to get buried on SoundCloud, I came up with the idea of remixing them to create new pieces that I could re-upload. As you can tell, the resulting tracks are much more complex compared to the original versions.  I find it fulfilling to add new interpretations to older works, so I plan on making this a series. I also enlisted the help of my friend Moza for this one. I hope you enjoy it!

Jörg S. born in Cologne, from youth on, was fascinated by all kinds of art, so he taught himself the saxophone very early. Nowadays flutes of all kind are also part of the equipment, as are jaw harps, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.
He was and is always involved in many band projects and session events.
In the 80s he was a saxophonist in the Adam Noidlt Intermission Orchestra with gigs in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Basel. Very early on he also worked as a writer with live readings in the Cologne area and was a painter with large formats for many years, all in addition to his job as a graphic designer. Now, retired, devoted solely to music: home recording with the platform of choice, Soundcloud and global collaborations.
