Il n’y en a pas beaucoup des jazzmen contemporains qui peuvent se targuer d’avoir produit des classiques, des vrais, des purs, des tatoués. Eh bien l’accordéoniste Vincent Peirani et le saxophoniste Emile Parisien font partie de cette caste très resserrée. En 2014 quand ils ont dévoilé Belle Epoque, leur premier disque en duo, ils ne se doutaient pas qu’il allait changer leur vie. Dans cette alchimie intimiste, on retrouvait ce qui avait fait les grandes heures de Michel Portal avec Richard Galliano: comme un parfum d’évidence qui embaume tout ce qu’ils touchent. Ecouter leur “Egyptian Fantasy” de Sidney Bechet, c’est partir loin en sons et en sens. Six ans plus tard, le binôme est clairement l’un des groupes de jazz français les plus populaires en Europe. 

On attendait donc de pied et d’oreille fermes le second opus de leurs aventures duelles. Le voici donc venu: il s’appelle Abrazo et sera disponible à tous et pour tous le 28 août. On y retrouvera des relectures étonnantes de la légende du tango Astor Piazzolla ou du prophète du jazz, Jelly Roll Morton. En clôture, c’est à l’électron libre de la pop eighties Kate Bush que le duo s’attaque. Sous leurs vingt doigts, son  ”Army Dreamers” bouleversant et synthétique devient un ”Army Dreamer” minimaliste et frémissant. Et si on est fiers de vous présenter cette relecture en avant-première, c’est aussi parce qu’elle représente l’addition-ADN de la radio: jazz+pop+liberté = Grigri.

"Jörg S. born in Cologne, from youth on, is fascinated by all kinds of art, so he taught himself the saxophone very early. Nowadays flutes of all kind are also part of the equipment, as are jaw harps, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.
He was and is always involved in many band projects and session events.
In the 80s he was a saxophonist in the Adam Noidlt Intermission Orchestra with gigs in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Basel. Very early on he also worked as a writer with live readings in the Cologne area and was a painter with large formats for many years, all in addition to his job as a graphic designer. Now, retired, he is devoted solely to music: home recording with the platform of choice, Soundcloud and global collaborations."
