Grooves braziliani mescolati con funk puro, colorato di sensazioni house e il tutto ricoperto da una amabile energia lounge. Il primo disco degli Areia può essere considerato “easy listening” ma assolutamente da ballare, e i loro show live all'opposto del disco, uno spettacolo esplosivo di prestazioni strumentali in tensione completa dove i tre musicisti vengono accompagnati, per completare il “muro del suono” da altri cinque artisti di talento al basso, flauto, sax tenore, chitarra e piano. Nella loro musica possiamo sentire le influenze di A.C.Jobim, di Vinicius de Moraes, Tania Maria, Incognito, St.Germain, Llorca, Sade ecc...
Areia con i loro concerti sono già riusciti ad ottenere molto successo da un pubblico che li ha seguiti con entusiasmo e sincera passione, spargendo con successo il virus della musica da salotto, ovunque la suonino.
Il loro sound è prevalentemente basato sulla lounge music ma spaziano senza difficoltà nella bossa, nella samba, il funk fino al jazzy-house. Autore di tutti i brani del cd è Denis Beganovich, trombonista e tasteriesta a fianco della pop star slovena Magnifico.
Molti i potenziali hits contenuti nel lavoro d'esordio “Train to Areia”, l'irresistibile “Monday” con la splendida voce di Denise Dantas, la giocosa “Questions” in boogaloow style, la briosa “Train to Areia” che da il titolo all'album e 'Bye, bye Brazil' il tipico brano che dopo il primo ascolto lo continui a fischiettare per tutto il giorno. 'Train to Areia' è un lavoro brillante, ricco di brioso buon gusto e con forti potenzialità di successo a livello internazionale.

After listening to the deep and melancholic melodies of Oceanvs Orientalis - real name Safak Ozkutle - it’s clear he’s a man of many influences. Hailing from Istanbul, Turkey, Safak was inspired at an early age after being exposed to a variety of oriental selections by his mother, including Turkish, Kurdish, Arabic and Armenian music. Now he expands upon those motifs with steady, hypnotic rhythms that have taken him around the world, performing at Burning Man, Output, Fusion Festival and Kindish Showcase among others. The overall aesthetic of his material plays off his motto, “tunes are not in a hurry,” a message that urges listeners to slow down and take in the mesmerizing soundscapes he delivers.

Our first song on the new album. 3 songs put into one. It's the start of the concept. The big question, to decipher the meaning of life.
The album starts where "mammals" ends.
Mammals was, for me, an album that criticises the society nowadays. The hate against other cultures. The fucked up isms we have to deal with (racism, facism) the greed. The cold world where groups only want to fill their pockets.
On decipher the journey begins with the death of someone who has to deal with the questions? Why can't we accept that life is a precious gift? Why do we fight each other instead of supporting us? I hope everyone gets his own meaning of "decipher" and enjoys the ride.

Please check the video links below, i would like to know your thoughts especially on the science facts, my conclusion is we are all ancient star people somehow trapped and enslaved with lost untold and repressed powers, which i somehow new deep down and have personally always had a strong calling to the stars and the resonance of sound or music, which is what we all collectively feel and is more than likey why we are all obsessed with music as a species soaking up those vibrating magnetic frequencies and somehow still making connections with ancient repressed abilities! "Jörg S. born in Cologne, from youth on, is fascinated by all kinds of art, so he taught himself the saxophone very early. Nowadays flutes of all kind are also part of the equipment, as are jaw harps, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.
He was and is always involved in many band projects and session events.
In the 80s he was a saxophonist in the Adam Noidlt Intermission Orchestra with gigs in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Basel. Very early on he also worked as a writer with live readings in the Cologne area and was a painter with large formats for many years, all in addition to his job as a graphic designer. Now, retired, he is devoted solely to music: home recording with the platform of choice, Soundcloud and global collaborations."
