The term "artist to watch" gets thrown around a lot these days, especially with the volume of new artists entering the scene with unprecedented access to tracks, information, and technology. Often, however, it's a certain attitude that elevates the true heads above the groundswell of an ocean of new artists, and Connor Wall is unquestionably of this ilk.

Inspired from past, present and future experiences - Connor's creative constancy has allowed him to shape his sound into the organic, weighty, and effective tracks you can hear on labels like Treatment, Float, Phorum and WSNWG.  There is a potent, heart-palpitating sonic representation that accompanies anything Connor does, and part of the reason why he is such an exciting prospect leading into the future. His devotion to a particular sound and approach has driven his ability to grow rapidly since entering the scene just a few years ago, and it is this obsession that will continue to allow him to blossom. He’s an artist to watch by all accounts, and whether it’s DJing or producing, he is emerging as an essential feature of Australia.

This is the first episode of NAX Invites, a monthly series where artists will showcase a different side of their sound through carefully curated sets. This is a space for contrast and personal storytelling. Each mix is meant to evoke a journey and reveal an alternate musical identity. On the first hour, I will present a mix from myself, followed by an introduction to the artist and his mix. 

For the first guest mix, I welcome @m3str - a talented artist from Portugal, co-owner of @analytical-convenience from Porto. He has delivered a beautiful hour of driving sci-fi sounds.

NAX Invites 01 - M3STR

In the DJ booth, E2NMN crafts immersive experiences through the deeper
spectrum of techno, where atmospheric textures meet intricate rhythms and
powerful synth work. Her appearances at respected venues like Tresor’s New
Faces night have further cemented her presence within Berlin’s active techno
scene. E2NMN’s sets transcend mere movement, aiming to forge a deeper
connection and spark introspection on the dancefloor.
E2NMN relocation to Berlin ignited a deep immersion in the city’s vibrant after-
hours scene, leading to the co-founding of the Warum nicht? Kollektiv – a
testament to her early drive and collaborative spirit. E2NMN has also marked her
debut in France as a producer with the « Choices » EP on the emerging Parisian
imprint Void Records. Building on this momentum, she recently landed on the
label of Isabel Soto - now familiar with playing for the Berghain dancefloor -
signaling her emergence as a notable producer within her generation.

The 59th episode of Schimmer's podcast series was recorded by Berlin-based DJ and promoter Reka Zalan.

Reka is known for hypnotic depths and percussive drives — always tuned to atmosphere and often drawn to the gloomier sides of Techno. Her sets, whether digital or vinyl, move forward, outward, and inward, balancing tension and flow. Deeply rooted in Berlin’s scene, she’s a local Tresor resident, Hard Wax staffer, part of Coppi collective, and former ://elements co-host. Before immersing herself fully into club life, she worked at the Berlin Music Commission. Driven by curiosity and connection, Reka loves building bridges through sound and shared moments.
