In honor of those who fought for our freedom during world war ll.

Today, 70 years ago, the German Armed Forces surrendered and pulled out of Norway. The day before, 7th of may is referred to as VE-DAY (Victory in Europe) by the British and American allied forces. The amount of terror, death and horror caused by the Nazi ideologic driven warfare is staggering and so terrible that it is despite how well documented, hard to imagine.


May we never forget!


I wrote and recorded this piece in honor of the ones that laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.

May We Never Forget

Johan is a Norwegian composer for film and TV. He has produced scores for Hollywood productions, European Productions, Documentaries, Horrormovies, commercials and many other things.  He also makes music for NASA  and ESO. 

Johan started playing music at the age of seven and has been composing music since the age of ten. He has played in over a dusin bands, from pop bands to metal bands with concerts and touring nationally and internationally. He plays drums, guitar, bass, piano, synth and keyboard and have been doing so for more than 25 years and has several album and single releases from his former career as a touring musician.
 
 
 
Johan has worked freelance as a front of house sound-technician for seven years, scene-technician for ten years and has a long career as a professional arranger and song instructor for theater and plays. He has also composed, recorded and produced songs in many different genres through out the years.
 
 
Johan is educated in jazz-harmony, music-theory, music-history, sound-technique and sound-design.Living near the immense forest of the central-east Norway, he draws inspiration from that environment daily to fully express himself in all of his music. His niche is music for TV and film. 


With clients ranging from The European Space Agency, NASA and American film students and film academies, Johan is already experienced and working his way up as a composer.
