Now this mix right here is from an extra special guest, one who descended into madness just to curate this debauchery of a selection. A dear friend who truly and deeply understands our love for music.

For those of you who may know, Johan N. Lecander is the Creative Director of DI.FM. And if so, you would definitely know how monumental Digitally Imported has been in it's online electronic music presence over the years, giving many of us our regular routine listening across many channels and from multiple artists who frequently air on those.

It is Johan, who first approved our Chapters, that too at a monthly prime time slot. Every First Friday of the Month from 5.30 - 7pm GMT. That itself, was a landmark for us. Getting our own monthly residency on DI.FM - a station which has inspired us and introduced us to so much talent for more than a decade!

It is also Johan who motivated us to start with the Curates series, earlier than we initially ended to, when lockdown first started last year. Though others greatly dissuaded us to postpone it due to the saturation of online streaming, it wouldn’t have happened without Johan pushing us, and in turn the series. 
And you've all seen the diversity of amazing artists that have curated for us till date. It only made sense that we have him curate for us just before our year mark for this segment.

Furthermore, when pitching our commendable new series in December. An outlet to allow emerging talent to showcase their storytelling, it was Johan that said, "7 monthly radio shows, we've never had that ever before on DI, but hey man, if anyone can handle it and handle it well .. it's you" and thus began our weekly affair with Chronicles Commends.

It's just been slightly over the year mark and we now have 7 monthly radio shows, over 3 series and are extremely privileged to showcase anything and everything that musically touches us, without any creative or genre limitations.

Johan, thank you for all you've done for our Chronicles - the consistent support and encouragement that you selflessly extend. Not just for us, but for many others, as you have been for quite a few years.

I've been looking forward to putting this set together for a long time. Fevah records always stood apart from the other hard dance labels of the time, with its driving hard house/hard trance style it was guaranteed to get people on the dance floor moving.

On Saturday,  April 2, 2022 REFORM will be taking over Catch One’s bustling bi-level venue with a 4-room House + Techno lineup. Located on Pico Avenue near Downtown Los Angeles, Catch One originally opened in 1973 and was the longest-running black gay dance bar in the city. It now serves as one of LA’s premiere multi-purpose venues, making it an ideal space for REFORM to host 20+ Techno, House, and Experimental artists across four rooms.

Dj and producer from Los Angeles, California, Force Placement is a resident DJ and founding member of The Black Lodge, an L.A. based event collective and record label that has been pushing mutant strains of underground dance music to the masses since 2015. Known for his versatility as a DJ and live PA artist, Jason’s performances run the gamut from soulful and cerebral house music to mind-bending acid techno.
