So, a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do. I put a call out for some decks, the universe delivered, thanks to Robert Marron, who offered me his decks and mixer.

In a world where technological and industrial progress has brought us such a level of comfort and security that our mind could be free, yet individuals seem to be increasingly subject to fatigue, social pressure and overwork.

Between information saturation and time-consuming entertainment, humans increasingly resemble a race of zombies who have lost control of their lives. It can even be said that many individuals no longer even know who and what they really are.

Growth, profit, belonging or consumption often lead individuals into a silo where inertia, lack of knowledge and lack of understanding are the main causes of their decline. 

The over-medicalisation of society is a further example of this inertia. Antidepressants, anxiolytics and analgesics perpetuate the illusion of this biased and unnatural societal model. When we think that meditation and self-cultivation fill our minds with peace and serenity, the instantaneous artifices that are proposed to us are only a distorting lens that takes us further away from who we are.

Skaki offers you a peace box made up of aesthetic, complex and logical sound waves that we call techno to guide you in a meditation in the depths of your self.

Yet it is so simple to close your eyes, wherever you are, let yourself be pierced by the musical undulations and meditate in order to reconnect with yourself and let yourself slide out of societal inertia with serenity.
